Salary: £27,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join their team in Stone. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment and enjoys delivering outstanding customer service while providing vital support to the sales team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing sales orders, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring all sales administration is completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries and process sales orders received via telephone and email.
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately, taking customer account details, credit status, and pricing into consideration.
  • Keep customers informed on the progress of their orders and provide timely updates.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with your allocated customer accounts.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to generate additional sales and support business growth.
  • Monitor outstanding quotations and enquiries, following up where appropriate.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and credit requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Sales Representatives, keeping them informed of any customer issues or opportunities.
  • Ensure all sales administration is completed in line with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights with the Sales Office Manager and National Sales Manager.
  • Process credit requests within agreed service levels and company guidelines.

  • Previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal business systems.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
