Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) 4 on 4 off (days only 08.00 - 20.00) Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire £52,000

The Maintenance Engineer will support the engineering team in delivering an effective maintenance programme through planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance. You will play a key role in ensuring consistency across all production areas while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and project activities.

  • Assist with site-wide technical compliance, ensuring a rapid response to breakdowns and maintaining effective production cover at all times.
  • Carry out planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance across site to maximise plant efficiency.
  • Provide a fast and effective response to production breakdowns.
  • Support and manage external contractors during installation or improvement projects.
  • Build strong working relationships with production teams to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure efficient use of engineering stores and minimise waste/costs.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping within engineering areas.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to optimise labour and material costs.
  • Ensure effective shift handovers and clear communication within the engineering team.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the plant.
  • Maintain high Health and Safety standards.
