Quality Inspector - Fabrication Stoke-on-Trent £35,000 - £38,000 DOE Days - Monday to Friday (40 hrs/week) Permanent | Engineering & Manufacturing Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in steel fabrication and a keen eye for detail? We\'re recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of shelters and street furniture who are looking to strengthen their quality team at their Stoke-on-Trent facility. The Role: As Quality Inspector, you\'ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of quality across both standard and bespoke shelter products. This includes: Conducting 100% inspections: visual, patrol, and first-off Performing dimensional measurements against engineering drawings Recording and compiling internal part approval packs Reviewing in-house bespoke projects to identify potential issues pre-production Capturing quality issues at source to reduce business impact Supporting fabrication teams with drawing/BOM/process queries What We\'re Looking For: Essential: Solid understanding of mild and stainless steel fabrication Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings Clear and factual communication skills across teams Desirable: Experience in weld inspection , including dye penetrant testing What\'s in it for you?
