I am currently recruiting on behalf of my well established and well respected client for a People & Payroll Administrator to join a close knit and friendly People Team. This part-time role is crucial in helping to deliver an accurate, and compliant HR and payroll function.

What You'll Be Doing

  • You will be at the heart of the operation, ensuring the smooth processing of weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees, supporting a wide variety of HR and engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and submit weekly payroll data.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (including Kronos), ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance.
  • Prepare and issue contracts, HR letters, and employment documentation.
  • Support employee onboarding and induction processes.
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from managers and escalate where required.
  • Generate HR reports on absence, turnover, and recruitment.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People Team and management.
  • Coordinate interviews, meetings, and diary scheduling.
  • Support employee engagement events and activities.
  • Act as a system administrator for Kronos, assisting with updates and user issues.
  • Manage communications in the shared People & Recruitment inbox.
  • Schedule absence review meetings with relevant teams.

We're Looking For Someone Who…

  • Has payroll processing experience (weekly preferred).
  • Strong administrative skills in a busy, professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • Experience with Kronos or a similar HRIS.
  • Exposure to HR or People Team environment.
  • Interest in employee engagement and continuous improvement.
