Temp Contract Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Leek, Staffordshire 4 Weeks + We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for delivering site-wide maintenance support, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a wide range of equipment Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimize production downtime Support site engineering projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement activities Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems across the production site Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues Ensure all work is carried out in line with site health, safety, and hygiene standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and shift handovers Skills & Experience Time-served engineer with a recognised mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Proven experience in a food, FMCG, or similar fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Ability to work independently on nights and manage priorities efficiently Excellent understanding of health and safety practices in a manufacturing setting Experience with PLC fault finding (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards #INDENG
