Electrical Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) Wigan – Up to £52,000 DOE 4 on 4 off (2 days & 2 nights) We are looking for a time served Electrical Engineers with a background in FMCG environments for our client based in Wigan. The Role Understanding of Electrical Control Automation systems Capable of fault finding on pneumatic systems Electrical and mechanical installations will be required and candidates with PLC, variable speed drives, and control circuit fault finding experience is essential Mechanically, you need to be competent changing seal kits on a variety of high pressure and low pressure centrifugal pumps Mechanical Systems knowledge (Thermal Processes, Pumps, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Valves) Fast Moving Flexible Packing Production Lines Corrective, preventive & predictive maintenance routines Planning of shutdowns Spare parts testing Manage contractor’s activities Working in a safe manner – adhering to H&S Fault finding and problem solving Respond efficiently and effectively to equipment breakdowns Ensure maximum focus is given to their nominated production area Assist and support operation engineers in managing the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of machinery & equipment Drive continuous improvement Use of a CMMS system for maintenance management LEAN methodologies H&S Compliance Skills & Experience Required Recognised Engineer Apprenticeship (electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled) Academic Qualification Degree in Engineering or ONC/BTEC/HNC + Time Served Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG environments Benefits Company Sick Pay Scheme (available after 12 months of continuous service) Refer a Friend Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Employee Assistance Programme Eye test vouchers Free Tea/Coffee #INDENG JBRP1_UKTJ
