KPI Recruiting are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join a busy Italian restaurant in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves good food, takes pride in leading a kitchen, and knows how to keep standards high while creating a positive, well-organised working environment.
The role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with a salary of £45,000.00 per year plus paid overtime.
What You’ll Be Doing
Running the kitchen day to day and making sure service is smooth, organised and consistent.
Leading, supporting and developing the kitchen team.
Preparing and presenting high-quality Italian food to a strong standard.
Helping to shape menus, specials and seasonal dishes.
Managing stock, ordering, waste and food costs.
Keeping food hygiene, health and safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards where they need to be.
Working closely with front of house to give guests a great experience.
Experience as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant kitchen.
A genuine passion for Italian food and fresh ingredients.
Confident leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen compliance.
The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy services.
