KPI Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an exceptional independent school in Coventry for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September. This is an outstanding opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, SEND, speech language therapy or wider education. The Role
- Support pupils across Key Stages through engaging learning activities
- Deliver targeted interventions with individuals and small groups
- Provide occasional whole-class cover when required
- Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning
- Help students develop confidence, independence and academic success
- Build meaningful relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Gain first-class preparation for teacher training or postgraduate study
The Ideal Candidate
- A 2:1 or above in any degree subject (Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science or Humanities preferred)
- Passionate about working with young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident leading small groups and supporting classroom learning
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential
- Ambitious, resilient and eager to build a career in education
