Key Responsibilities:
- Client Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
- Candidate Sourcing: Identify, attract, and interview high-calibre engineering and manufacturing professionals using various channels (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and more).
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate selection, CV screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and approach new clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Market Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, skill shortages, and market changes to better support client and candidate needs.
- Achievement of Targets: Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs, including revenue and placement goals.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records using the company CRM system and ensure compliance with relevant employment and GDPR legislation.
About You:
- Experience: Proven experience in recruitment (ideally within engineering, manufacturing, or technical sectors) or a strong background in sales with transferable skills.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and influencing abilities. Results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Adept at building and maintaining long-term professional relationships.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the engineering or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
- Personal Attributes: Highly motivated and resilient. Self-starter with a strong desire to succeed. A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Degree is preferred but not essential.
