Electrical Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – 55K – NO WEEKENDS 12hr days and nights rotation – NO WEEKENDS Macclesfield Β£55,000 Profit related pay bonus Ownership bonus payment – TAX FREE Life assurance – 9x salary Sick pay scheme Pension scheme, 5% employee, 10% employer contribution Health care cashback – Opticians, dentist etc. Over time paid at 1.5X Mon-Sat and 2X on Sundays
Job Purpose: A world leader in the medical devices industry are seeking a proactive maintenance engineer professional to minimise downtime, conduct planned maintenance and continuous improvement tasks across site. The successful candidate will be a hands on, Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias and have a desire to improve machinery availability, life cycle costs and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive repairs to a variety equipment and control systems Act as the engineering representative on the night shift. Carry out planned Maintenance activities. Minimising downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets Supervision of outside contractors/service engineers and tradesmen as required Management of small projects such as equipment installation or staff training To develop and implement process improvements Requirements: Completed a recognised city & guilds, NVQ or equivalent electrical engineering apprenticeship Proven experience post apprenticeship in an electrical multiskilled maintenance role Electrical/ mechanical skills bias with proven competence in both disciplines. Ability to identify and correct faults within electrical, pneumatic, water and mechanical systems Be able to demonstrate a continues improvement mindset If you have the skills and experience required, we\’d love to hear from you!
