We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a fast-paced distribution operation working to tight daily deadlines. This is a hands-on role, leading from the front to ensure workflow efficiency and team performance across a busy warehouse environment.

The Role

  • Supervise and support the warehouse team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Deliver daily dispatch and production targets
  • Operate Counterbalance and Reach FLT where required
  • Manage pick waves and stock replenishment processes
  • Allocate labour effectively based on workload and priorities
  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively
  • Communicate effectively with senior management
  • Complete basic HR duties including timesheets, absence management and arranging cover
  • Train and develop team members to improve overall performance
  • Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
  • Previous warehouse supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of pick/pack, dispatch and stock control processes
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on, practical approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational ability
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable

  • Reach Truck licence
  • Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to CNC or similar machinery

Working Hours

1:00pm – 11:00pm, 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
