KPI Recruiting are currently looking for an experienced and highly organised Executive And Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director of a well-established housing group based in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Senior Administrator who has previously provided support at senior or board level and is confident working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director, Directors, Board members and key stakeholders, providing high-level administrative and organisational support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the Managing Director’s diary, including internal and external meetings, professional engagements and appointments.
  • Liaise with Directors, Board members and key stakeholders to ensure effective use of the Managing Director’s time.
  • Provide high-quality day-to-day administrative and executive support to the Managing Director and wider team.
  • Prepare briefing packs, meeting papers, spreadsheets and other documentation for senior-level meetings.
  • Prepare and format professional presentations for Board, Executive and other senior meetings.
  • Coordinate and follow up contributions to ensure meetings are fully prepared and actions are completed.
  • Maintain effective electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring documents are accurate, organised and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation and associated arrangements for the Managing Director.
  • Act as a key point of contact for enquiries directed to the Managing Director, responding or redirecting as appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage the Managing Director’s mailbox, identifying and prioritising correspondence and matters requiring attention.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take and distribute minutes, maintain action logs and manage forward agendas.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams and external delivery partners.
  • Coordinate and manage assigned projects through to completion.
  • Organise meetings, events and other activities on behalf of the Managing Director.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling commercially sensitive, employee, Board and stakeholder information.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or in a similar senior administrative role.
  • Previous experience providing support at senior management or board level is highly desirable.
  • Experience within construction, property, housing, legal, finance or a professional services environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent diary and calendar management skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience preparing meeting papers, presentations and reports.
  • Strong meeting coordination and minute-taking skills.
  • Experience arranging travel and accommodation.
  • Ability to manage confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
