The hours and days as a General Operative are:
- Monday- Friday 06:00- 14:00/ 14:00- 22:00 (rotating)
- Sunday- Thursday 22:00- 06:00
The rate of pay as a General Operative:
- £12.71 p/h
The duties and responsibilities as a General Operative:
- Operating and cleaning production or assembly machinery and hand tools
- Loading raw materials, moving goods, and storing items safely
- Assisting with simple assembly tasks depending on the production line
- Monitoring products, spotting defects, and reporting issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following Health & Safety rules
The ideal candidate for a General Operative would require:
- Previous experience working as a general operative
- Ability to work well individually or in a team environment
- Good eye for detail
- Good time keeping skills
