To support our continued growth and a fast-track pipeline of work in the Crewe, Stoke, Cheshire area, we are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Site Manager specializing in fit-out projects.

The Role

As a Site Manager, you will take operational command of high-spec Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects. You will lead the day-to-day on-site operations, managing subcontractors, ensuring stringent health and safety compliance, and maintaining the exceptional build quality that F Parkinson Ltd is known for. Given the fast-track nature of this appointment, we are offering this on a temp-to-perm basis to get the right person on board immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Leadership: Oversee and manage all day-to-day on-site activities for CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects from inception through to successful handover.
  • Program & Progress: Drive the project schedule, ensuring milestones are met, sub-contractors are coordinated efficiently, and delays are mitigated.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain an exemplary site safety record. Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, RAMS, and company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality inspections, leveraging your trade background to ensure high-end finishes and zero-defect handovers.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as a key point of contact on site for clients, architectural teams, and external stakeholders, representing F Parkinson Ltd with professionalism.

Requirements & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned fit-out professional who has risen through the ranks of the joinery trade.

Essential

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in Construction Site Management, with a heavy emphasis on commercial interior fit-outs.
  • Fit-Out Expertise: Explicit, demonstrable experience managing both CAT A (landlord/shell) and CAT B (tenant bespoke fit-out) projects.
  • Trade Background: Time-served Joiner by trade, bringing deep technical knowledge of first and second-fix joinery, partitioning, suspended ceilings, and high-end finishes.
  • Certification: Valid CSCS Gold Card (Advanced Craft/Supervisor) or Black Card (Manager) is required.
  • Safety Credentials: Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and Fire Marshal certifications.
  • Location: Ability to commute reliably to site locations in and around Blackpool.

Desirable

  • Sector Experience: Prior experience delivering projects within the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) framework or similar high-security, live public sector environments.
