KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a VNA FLT Operative for our client based in Byley.

As a VNA FLT Driver working hours and days are:

  • Monday- Friday
  • 07:00- 17:00

The rate of pay as a VNA FLT Driver is:

  • Β£13.50 p/h

Key Responsibilities as a VNA FLT Driver are:

  • Safely operate a VNA forklift truck to move and store pallets within narrow-aisle racking systems
  • Load and unload pallets from designated storage locations
  • Pick and retrieve stock from racking according to instructions
  • Transport finished products and materials between production and warehouse areas
  • Carry out basic checks on the FLT before use and report any faults or damage
  • Ensure pallets are stable, correctly positioned, and stored safely
  • Follow warehouse procedures, traffic routes, speed limits, and pedestrian safety requirements
  • Accurately scan and record stock movements using warehouse systems, where required
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards within warehouse and storage areas.
  • Work safely around other FLTs, pedestrians, conveyors, and warehouse equipment
  • Follow all company Health & Safety, food safety, GMP, and site procedures where applicable
  • Report damaged pallets, racking, stock, equipment, or unsafe working conditions
  • Assist with general warehouse duties when required

Required Skills & Qualifications for a VNA FLT Driver:

  • Valid VNA FLT licence/certificate or relevant recognised training
  • Previous experience operating VNA trucks is preferred
  • Good spatial awareness and ability to work safely in narrow aisles and at heigh
  • Good attention to detail when picking, storing, and checking stock
  • Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
