The Geography department is large, successful and highly regarded, delivering excellent outcomes across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including multiple A Level Geography groups. A key strength of the department is its commitment to helping students experience Geography beyond the classroom. Fieldwork, enquiry‑based learning and real‑world geographical experiences are actively promoted throughout the curriculum, helping students develop deeper understanding and analytical skills.

As a Teacher of Geography, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A Level Geography
  • Inspire students to develop curiosity about physical and human geography, sustainability and global issues
  • Support students in developing strong analytical, evaluative and geographical enquiry skills
  • Contribute to a high‑quality curriculum that promotes exceptional progress and outcomes
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and experienced department to develop outstanding classroom practice
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities including fieldwork, trips and wider geographical learning experiences
