The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full academic, social, and emotional potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across a range of curriculum areas
- Delivering literacy and numeracy interventions to small groups
- Providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Supporting children with SEND and other barriers to learning
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement in the classroom
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
