Graduate Science Teacher Training Opportunity (Salaried Route)

Location: Swindon

KPI Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Swindon area to appoint a motivated and academically strong Science graduate to join their teacher training pathway from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate considering a long-term career in teaching, offering the chance to gain hands-on classroom experience while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a structured, salaried school-based programme.

The Role

  • Supporting and delivering Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
  • Working with small groups and individual students to develop scientific knowledge, practical skills, and analytical thinking.
  • Assisting in the preparation of lesson resources, experiments, and assessments.
  • Developing your classroom practice through structured observation and co-teaching.
  • Participating in weekly training sessions focused on behaviour management, pedagogy, and curriculum delivery.
  • Gradually taking on full teaching responsibilities under the guidance of experienced staff.

This role is designed to build your teaching skills step by step, ensuring you are fully prepared to achieve Qualified Teacher Status by the end of the programme.
