Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Contract: Temporary / Contract - various durations available

We are recruiting experienced Maintenance Engineers

We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical, Multi-Skilled and Electrical Maintenance Engineers to work on a range of temporary and contract assignments with established production and manufacturing companies throughout Trafford Park and the surrounding Manchester area.

Skills & Experience

We are interested in hearing from engineers who have:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Engineering Technician or similar
  • Experience within manufacturing, production, FMCG, process, packaging or industrial environments
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
  • A proactive approach to machinery breakdowns and preventative maintenance
  • The ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team
  • Good communication skills
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
  • Good engineering documentation and reporting skills
  • Flexibility to work different shift patterns where required

Applicants must be time-served or apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineers with a recognised Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent, together with relevant hands‑on experience within a production, manufacturing or industrial environment.

Candidates should have a strong practical engineering background relevant to their discipline, whether Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled.
