Help Young People Overcome Barriers to Education
Are you a graduate looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in young people's lives?
We are recruiting a
resilient and adaptable Behaviour Mentor to provide one-to-one support to young people experiencing behavioural difficulties, additional needs, school exclusions or time away from education.
You will help pupils rebuild confidence, develop positive behaviours and re-engage with learning through tailored mentoring in educational settings and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one mentoring and pastoral support.
Build positive relationships and encourage engagement with education.
Support emotional regulation, social skills and positive behaviour.
Work with school staff to support individual progress.
Accompany pupils on planned outings and community activities.
What We're Looking For
A graduate from any discipline; Psychology, Sociology, Criminology or Education are advantageous.
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
The ability to remain calm under pressure.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential for candidates with the right attitude and transferable skills.
