A Graduate English Teacher Training Opportunity (Salaried Route) is available at a mainstream secondary school in Swindon. This full-time position starts in September 2026 and is part of a school-based salaried training programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
KPI Education is partnering with a well-regarded secondary school to appoint a motivated and academically strong English graduate for their teacher training pathway. This role offers hands-on classroom experience while working towards QTS through a structured, salaried programme.
The Role
- Supporting and delivering English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Working with small groups and individual students to develop literacy, comprehension, and analytical skills.
- Assisting in the preparation of lesson resources and assessments.
- Developing classroom practice through structured observation and co-teaching.
- Participating in weekly training sessions focused on behaviour management, pedagogy, and curriculum delivery.
- Gradually taking on full teaching responsibilities under the guidance of experienced staff.
