Are you a Science Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact within a specialist SEN setting? A well-established all-through SEN school in Wood Green is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated Science lessons across KS2-KS4 (flexible depending on experience)
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SEND and SEMH
- Create a structured, positive learning environment that supports behaviour and engagement
- Work closely with support staff and therapists to deliver a collaborative approach
- Monitor and assess progress, aligning with EHCP outcomes

- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and professionals
Qualifications and Experience
- Holds QTS or equivalent
- Has experience teaching Science across relevant key stages
- Has experience with SEND/SEMH or is open to working in a specialist setting
- Is confident managing behaviour with a calm, consistent approach
- Is adaptable, proactive and committed to inclusive education
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
