KPI Recruiting is looking for a Customer Delivery Assistant for our client based in Bolton.
Hours and availability
- 5 out of 7 days per week
- Start time 06:45 – varied finish times (8‑10 hours per day)
Primary responsibilities
- Safely deliver, install and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions and Cookers at customer properties.
- Engage with customers, keep them informed, and ensure delivery and installation are carried out to the highest standard following best practice guidance.
- Maintain regular contact with the site throughout the day to address changes to customer delivery requests, discuss and elevate unplanned issues, seek guidance and adapt as necessary.
- Use the handheld device (Savvy) correctly, completing visits and obtaining customer signatures.
- Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessary.
- Handle all products safely and with care, supporting colleagues to do the same.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Continuously develop professionally, maintain a valid driving licence, and keep required training and knowledge up to date.
- Manage changing loads and secure them safely using provided equipment.
- Work compliantly, following site‑specific requirements, company and health and safety policies to keep customers and colleagues safe.
- Represent Currys as a brand ambassador by role‑modeling values and demonstrating customer‑first behaviours.
- Carry out delivery and collection of tote boxes and products from retail stores.
