About The Role

You’ll be delivering engaging and accessible Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5). The aim is to build confidence with numbers, develop problem‑solving skills, and help students see Maths as something they can succeed in. This role requires a flexible and creative approach, adapting lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs. You’ll be working closely with students who benefit from a more personalised and supportive teaching style, so patience and adaptability are key.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
  • GCSEs and A‑Levels in Maths (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • A patient, adaptable, and encouraging teaching style
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Full right to work within the UK

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in specialist or alternative provision settings
  • Knowledge of differentiated and personalised learning strategies
  • Understanding of trauma‑informed or therapeutic approaches
