Key Responsibilities as a Food Production Operative:
- Working on a production line packaging cheese products safely and efficiently
- Packing:
- Block cheese
- Sliced cheese
- Mini portions
- Blended cheese
- Pizza rope cheese
- Retail and bulk grated cheese
- Ensuring products are packed to company quality standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the production area
- Following health & safety and food safety procedures at all times
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets
The Ideal Candidate for a Food Production Operative will need:
- A disciplined, self-motivated and professional attitude
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive approach
- Good understanding of English and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work with speed, accuracy and efficiency
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar production or food manufacturing role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
