We're looking for an experienced Senior Visual Merchandising Manager to lead the visual merchandising strategy for a premium multi-channel retail business. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how customers experience our brands across stores, showrooms, pop-up locations and other physical retail environments. You'll be responsible for translating seasonal campaigns, product launches and brand storytelling into inspiring customer experiences that strengthen brand engagement and drive commercial performance.

Working closely with Creative, Marketing, Retail, Buying and Operations teams, you'll play a key role in developing innovative retail concepts while leading and inspiring a talented visual merchandising team. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the visual merchandising strategy across multiple retail formats, including stores, showrooms and temporary retail spaces.
  • Bring seasonal campaigns, product launches and brand initiatives to life through engaging visual merchandising concepts.
  • Create visual merchandising standards, guidelines and toolkits that ensure consistency across all customer-facing environments.
  • Design inspiring customer journeys that enhance the shopping experience while supporting commercial objectives.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of seasonal campaigns from concept through to implementation and post-project review.
  • Oversee window displays, product presentation, store layouts, zoning and visual standards across the retail estate.
  • Identify opportunities to improve store environments through creative merchandising, customer insight and commercial performance.
  • Lead visual merchandising for new store openings, refurbishments, relocations and experiential retail projects.
  • Conduct regular store visits and visual merchandising audits to maintain exceptional standards.
  • Work closely with Creative, Marketing and Retail teams to ensure campaigns translate effectively into physical environments.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, fabricators, agencies and installation partners.
  • Monitor budgets, project plans and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Analyse customer feedback, retail performance and industry trends to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing visual merchandising team, fostering creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute to wider retail and customer experience strategies.
About You

You'll be an experienced visual merchandising leader with a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer experiences within a premium retail, lifestyle or consumer brand. You’ll also bring:

  • Significant experience leading visual merchandising strategy across multiple retail formats.
  • Strong experience delivering seasonal campaigns, retail activations and product launches.
  • Expertise in retail storytelling, window displays, spatial planning and customer journey design.
  • Experience managing store openings, refurbishments, relocations or retail transformation projects.
  • A strong understanding of retail design, customer flow and merchandising principles.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance creativity with business objectives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant creative tools.
Desirable
  • Experience within an international or multi-site retail business.
  • Experience supporting flagship retail concepts or innovative store development projects.
  • Knowledge of retail design software or spatial planning tools.
  • Full UK driving licence.
