Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm
Due to a recent internal promotion and plant expansion, a high volume, family owned manufacturer in Oldham are seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to minimise plant downtime, assist with projects and implement PPM/Continuous improvement across their brand new, state of the art facility. This vacancy can accommodate a highly experienced engineer OR a more junior engineer.
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum
Responsibilities after training:
- Carry out planned and reactive repairs to a variety of equipment and mechanical systems
- Carry out planned maintenance activities, minimising downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets
- Supervision of outside contractors/service engineers and tradesmen as required
- Management of small projects such as equipment installation or staff training
- To develop and implement process improvements
- Electrical fault finding/repair on sensors, motors, panels, drives etc.
About You:
Time served Engineer from a high volume, continuous production environment. You will ideally have an electrical qualification and fault-finding experience; however, this isn't essential. If you would like to work in a new, highly automated and state of the art facility then please apply.
