We are seeking a passionate graduate to join this exciting and successful primary school in Oldham. The school is built on “three pillars” that sit at the heart of everything they do, ensuring pupils make excellent progress and are fully prepared for future success.
The Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will work within an EYFS, KS1, or KS2 classroom alongside the class teacher, supporting pupils to progress across a range of subject areas. You will play a pivotal role in boosting pupils’ confidence, ensuring individual needs are met, and helping to create an inclusive, positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
This role is ideal for aspiring primary teachers, educational psychologists, or child psychologists who are seeking valuable experience before progressing onto a PGCE or further professional training.
Location & Details
- Location: Oldham, OL9 6AA
- Salary: £480–£560 per week (paid weekly)
- Working Days: Monday–Friday
- Working Hours: 8:00am–3:30pm
- Position: Long-term, until the end of the academic year (July 2026)
