Harrow | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 40 Hours Per Week
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
A well-established and welcoming nursery in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join its friendly Early Years team. This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare professional who is passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development and helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Working alongside experienced practitioners and room leaders, you will play a key role in providing outstanding care and supporting children's learning through engaging and meaningful experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
- Observe and record children's progress where required.
- Follow nursery safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements
A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential.
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, positive, and proactive approach.
