A welcoming and inclusive specialist school in the M16 area of Manchester is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join its team on a permanent basis from September 2026. The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals
- Promote pupils' independence, confidence and personal development
Essential Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026
- Have experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Be committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality education
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive and resilient approach
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply, provided they will hold full QTS by September 2026 and meet the Right to Work requirement.
