Are you a confident, ambitious recruiter who loves the candidate side of recruitment? Do you enjoy building relationships, finding great people and turning conversations into placements? Want more ownership, earning potential and progression without necessarily focusing heavily on new business development?
KPI Education is growing, and we're looking for a Candidate Consultant to join our Manchester team. KPI Education specialises in long-term and permanent recruitment for schools across the UK, with a particular strength in graduate recruitment and developing talent pipelines for schools.
We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the candidate journey - from initial attraction and registration through to interview, placement and ongoing relationship management.
The Role
As a Candidate Consultant, you'll work closely with our Recruitment Consultants and school partners to ensure we have a constant pipeline of high-quality candidates ready for opportunities.
- Sourcing and attracting candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and our database
- Managing incoming applications and proactively headhunting candidates
- Conducting candidate registrations and interviews
- Understanding candidates' experience, ambitions and ideal next move
- Building strong relationships with graduates, teachers and education professionals
- Matching candidates against live school vacancies
- Preparing candidates for interviews and trial days
- Coordinating interviews between candidates, consultants and schools
- Managing offers and supporting candidates through the onboarding process
- Working closely with our compliance team to ensure candidates are ready to start
- Maintaining relationships with placed candidates
- Developing candidate referral networks
- Working towards individual registration, interview, placement and revenue targets
Who Are We Looking For?
Previous recruitment experience would be advantageous, particularly within education, healthcare, social care or another high-volume recruitment environment, but we're equally interested in ambitious people with strong candidate management or sales experience.
You’ll need to be:
- Confident and highly personable
- Comfortable spending plenty of time on the phone
- Target and results driven
- Commercially aware
- Organised and able to manage a busy candidate pipeline
- Proactive rather than waiting for applications to arrive
- Resilient and comfortable working at pace
- Passionate about providing an excellent candidate experience
What We Offer
£28,000 - £32,000 basic salary depending on experience
Uncapped bonus with realistic OTE of £40,000+
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Your birthday off every year
Manchester city centre office
Structured training and ongoing development
Regular incentives and team competitions
