Are you a Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact within a specialist SEN setting?

Do you want to work as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team supporting children and young people with Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and complex learning needs?

A specialist SEN school in Ealing is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join its established therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced therapist or someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive and well-resourced environment.

You will play a key role in helping pupils develop communication skills, improve access to learning and achieve greater independence, working closely with education staff, families and other therapists to deliver high-quality, child-centred interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan and deliver Speech and Language Therapy interventions for pupils with a range of communication needs

Manage a caseload of children and young people with Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs and associated learning difficulties

Contribute to EHCP assessments, annual reviews and outcome setting

Deliver both direct and indirect therapy interventions, including individual and group sessions

Work collaboratively with teachers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and wider professionals

Provide practical communication strategies and training to education staff

Support the development of communication-friendly learning environments

Monitor progress and maintain accurate clinical records and reports

Build positive relationships with families and external agencies to ensure consistent support

We are looking for someone who

Holds a recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification

Is HCPC registered and a member of RCSLT (or eligible)

Has experience working with children and young people with SEND

Has knowledge of Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs and neurodiversity-affirming practice

Enjoys working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Has strong communication, organisational and report‐writing skills

Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with additional needs
