Hours: 8am – 4pm, Temporary to Permanent

The role

We are currently recruiting for an organised and reliable Logistics Administrator to join a busy import and export company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast‑paced logistics environment. You will support the smooth running of daily import and export operations by coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, maintaining accurate records, and acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring goods are moved efficiently and compliantly, while providing excellent administrative support across the logistics function.

Main Duties

  • Manage all aspects of outbound transport operations
  • Arrange customer orders into transport loads using the DDS system
  • Input and maintain customer information on the network transport website
  • Generate pallet labels for network transport requirements
  • Prepare and print transport manifests, ensuring they are signed by both the loader and driver for each load created and dispatched
  • Monitor outbound loads and ensure accurate documentation is completed
  • Liaise with network transport providers to resolve any issues, including lost, missing, or damaged pallets in transit
  • Provide effective communication between internal teams, customers, and transport partners
  • Support the delivery of efficient and accurate transport processes

About you

  • Previous experience within transport, logistics, or administration is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • Confident using computer systems and transport management systems
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with drivers, customers, and external suppliers
