A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the LS11 area of Leeds is looking for a motivated Secondary STEM Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students across the core STEM subjects. You’ll work alongside experienced teachers, helping students build confidence, develop problem‑solving skills and reach their full academic potential.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning across Mathematics, Science and English
- Deliver targeted interventions for small groups and individual students
- Provide classroom support across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Encourage student engagement and confidence in STEM subjects
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential
