FLT Bendi Driver
Pay: £15 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Leeds, LS12
Hours: 06:00am to 15:00pm Monday to Friday
First Choice are seeking motivated and detail-oriented FLT Bendi Operators with experience on Bendi machines on behalf of our client, a long established printing company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse environment. Your expertise will ensure smooth inventory flow, accurate shipping and receiving processes, and safe handling of materials.
Duties
- Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents
- Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation
- Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and precise placement of goods in designated storage areas
- Support warehouse organisation by stacking, sorting, and storing products efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Valid FLT Bendi Truck Licence
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Good physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks over extended periods
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes to ensure accurate processing of inbound and outbound goods
