Our client is a material science manufacturer, producing innovative advanced material solutions which offer reliability and engineering credibility in demanding and safety critical applications. They are seeking a driven, technically capable-minded graduate to support their continued global growth of our Marine business. This is a long-term role suited to a candidate with a technical background, strong work ethic, and an ambition to build a career in the composite marine market.
Working closely with the Marine sales manager, you will provide internal sales support to the external team. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the integration of advanced composite materials into marine applications.
Key Responsibilities- Support internal sales activities for the marine team and coordinate new projects
- Develop an understanding of shaft line propulsion systems and the application of Railko and Feroform composite bearings
- Handle technical queries and provide accurate, timely responses to customers
- Prepare and issue quotations for marine-related projects
- Assist in creating marketing strategies and promotional materials
- Participate in exhibitions and customer meetings to represent the company
- Work with suppliers and support customer relationship management
- In-depth knowledge of marine propulsion systems and composite bearing technology
- Exposure to technical sales, marketing, and commercial operations
- Networking opportunities within the marine industry
- Practical experience with long-term career progression opportunities
- Ideally Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Materials, or related discipline)
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (sales, customer service, or technical support)
