Temporary HR Assistant
Location: Telford, TF7
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary, initially 8 weeks with the potential to be extended
The role: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Assistant to join our client’s team on an initial 8-week contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to provide comprehensive HR transactional support while also delivering diary management and administrative support to the senior leadership team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient HR administration across the employee lifecycle while supporting the day-to-day operational needs of a senior business leader.
Main Duties:
- Processing new starters
- Managing employee references
- Processing Right to Work documentation and ensuring compliance
- Supporting employee induction activities
- Providing recruitment administration and onboarding support
- Monitoring and processing probationary reviews
- Supporting absence management processes and record keeping
- Managing day-to-day HR queries and administration, including:
- Bank detail changes
- Job title amendments
- Payroll-related queries
- Leaver processing
- General employee administration
- Coordinating meetings and managing schedules
- Assisting with administrative tasks and correspondence
- Supporting the Director with day-to-day organisational requirements
