KPI Recruiting are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join a busy Italian restaurant in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves good food, takes pride in leading a kitchen, and knows how to keep standards high while creating a positive, well-organised working environment.
The role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with a salary of £45,000.00 per year plus paid overtime.
Responsibilities
- Running the kitchen day to day and ensuring service is smooth, organised and consistent.
- Leading, supporting and developing the kitchen team.
- Preparing and presenting high-quality Italian food to a strong standard.
- Helping to shape menus, specials and seasonal dishes.
- Managing stock, ordering, waste and food costs.
- Maintaining food hygiene, health and safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards where required.
- Working closely with front of house to deliver a great guest experience.
- Experience as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant kitchen.
- A genuine passion for Italian food and fresh ingredients.
- Confident leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen compliance.
- The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy services.
