These positions are particularly suited to graduates considering teaching, education or other careers working with young people. Graduate Academic Mentor – Key Facts
- Multiple opportunities across Hertfordshire
- £25,000 – £30,000 per annum or minimum £550 per week
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Fixed-term for 1 academic year

Your role will focus on helping pupils close knowledge gaps, build confidence and raise attainment. You could work with students who are currently below their target grades, provide intensive GCSE intervention or challenge high-achieving pupils aiming for Grades 7–9. This is not about sitting quietly at the back of a classroom. Schools want graduates who can explain ideas, ask intelligent questions, motivate pupils and become credible academic role models.
