The Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health).
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping children access the curriculum and develop social and learning skills.
  • Support class teachers in adapting lessons and creating an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
  • Encourage children to build confidence, independence, and resilience both in the classroom and in their personal development.

  • Previous experience with children or SEN (schools, youth work, care, volunteering) is beneficial but not essential
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
