We are looking to recruit a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant on behalf of an Outstanding primary school in the Sheffield area. This is a role suitable for recent or upcoming graduates within the education sector or with a passionate view to get started.
Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Full time role on a permanent contract – long-term temporary roles available
- Competitive salary
- Working within KS1 and KS2, providing in‑class support, small‑group work and 1:1 support to pupils
- Work with the class teacher to support lessons and reach objectives
- Be involved in the monitoring of progression and implementation of strategies
- Immediate start or September 2026 start both available
The ideal candidate:
- A graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher in a core subject or relevant field
- Experienced in working with children or young people – desirable but not essential
- Energetic personality with a real passion for education and helping our young learners to thrive
- Available to work full-time, Monday‑Friday during term time
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
