Are you a recent Nutrition graduate looking to begin a rewarding career in education? We are recruiting on behalf of two secondary schools in the SE11 area of London for an ambitious Graduate Nutrition Teaching Assistant with a clear pathway into teacher training. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students in Food, Nutrition and Health-related subjects before progressing onto a salaried or unsalaried teacher training programme.
About the Role
- Support students in Food Technology, Nutrition and related lessons.
- Work alongside experienced teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
- Provide one-to-one and small group academic support.
- Help raise student attainment and confidence.
- Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into teacher training.
Essential Requirements
- 2:1 degree or above in Nutrition or a closely related subject (e.g. Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Nutritional Sciences).
- A Levels or BTEC Level 3 (Pass/C or above).
- GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Mathematics.
- Right to Work in the UK.
