The Opportunity
As a Graduate Maths Trainee Teacher, you will be immersed in a thriving Mathematics department, working alongside experienced practitioners who are passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
From day one, you will be given meaningful responsibility, with your development carefully supported and structured throughout the programme.
You will:
- Support and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities at Key Stage 5.
- Work with high-ability students as well as those requiring targeted intervention to raise attainment.
- Develop mastery in lesson planning, sequencing, assessment, and adaptive teaching strategies.
- Observe and learn from outstanding classroom practitioners across the department.
- Engage in weekly, evidence-informed training sessions focused on pedagogy, behaviour, and curriculum design.
- Gradually assume full responsibility for lesson delivery under expert mentoring and supervision.
