Are you a Maths Graduate looking to gain valuable experience within a secondary school?
We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Maths Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Tower Hamlets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Graduate looking to develop their experience in education, with the potential to progress towards a future career in teaching.
The role:

Supporting students across the secondary school

Providing 1:1 and small-group support

Supporting students with Maths and numeracy
-
Helping students understand challenging mathematical concepts
-
Working alongside class teachers and the SEN team
-
Supporting students with additional learning needs
-
Helping students build confidence and independence
-
Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour support
The ideal candidate:

Degree in Maths or a related subject
-
Strong mathematical knowledge
-
Passionate about education and supporting young people
-
Confident, patient and approachable
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Interested in developing a career within education
-
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
DBS required – applicants without a DBS can be supported through the process.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maths Graduate to gain hands‑on secondary school experience while developing valuable classroom, pastoral and SEN skills.
