KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Catering Assistant for our client based in Gloucester.
The days and hours as a Catering Assistant are:
- 5 out of 7 days per week
- 08:00- 15:00
The rate of pay as a Catering Assistant is:
- £12.71 p/h
The duties and responsibilities as a Catering Assistant are:
- Preparing and serving food and drinks to staff
- Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Setting up and cleaning tables and serving areas
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen and canteen clean and tidy
- Following Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Procedures
- Assisting with food preparation when required
- Replenishing food, drinks and supplies
- Working as part of a friendly catering team
- Providing good customer service at all times
The ideal candidate for a Catering Assistant would need:
- Maintain the highest standards of Food Hygiene and cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety Level 2
- Ensure safe storage food products and chemicals
- Follow all company policies relating to Health and Safety, Infection Control and Safeguarding
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations and Food Safety standards
- Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work in a busy environment
- Ability to work well independently and under pressure
