Counterbalance Forklift Driver Wanted - Glenrothes
KPI Recruiting are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in Glenrothes (KY6 2RU).
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Location: Glenrothes, KY6 2RU
The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trucks.
- Moving, lifting and positioning pallets and materials around the warehouse and yard.
- Loading goods securely onto trucks for dispatch.
- Unloading incoming deliveries and checking goods for any visible damage.
- Moving stock to the correct storage locations.
- Ensuring goods are stored safely and securely.
- Preparing orders and materials for dispatch.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
- Carrying out daily forklift safety checks and reporting any faults.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Working efficiently as part of a busy warehouse and logistics team.
What We're Looking For
- Valid counterbalance forklift experience/licence.
- Previous experience loading and unloading trucks.
- Good awareness of workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
