KPI Recruiting are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a busy Italian restaurant in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
The role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with a salary of £37,000.00 per year plus paid overtime.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Preparing and presenting high-quality Italian dishes to a consistent standard.
- Helping to lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team during service.
- Maintaining strong food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, waste management and food costs.
- Contributing ideas for menus, specials and seasonal dishes.
- Working closely with front of house to help deliver a great guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant kitchen.
- A genuine passion for Italian food, fresh ingredients and quality cooking.
- A hands‑on approach with the confidence to support and guide a team.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen compliance.
- The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy services.
