Overview

KPI Recruiting are looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join a busy Italian restaurant in Glasgow on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh dough, quality ingredients and authentic Italian-style cooking in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with a salary of £33,000.00 per year plus paid overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, stretching and cooking fresh pizzas to a high and consistent standard.
  • Working with fresh dough, sauces, toppings and quality Italian ingredients.
  • Managing the pizza section during busy services and keeping orders moving smoothly.
  • Maintaining strong food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Helping with prep, stock rotation, ordering and reducing waste where possible.
  • Supporting the wider kitchen team when needed and keeping the section organised.
  • Working closely with front of house to help deliver a great guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Pizza Chef or Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant kitchen.
  • A genuine passion for pizza, Italian food and fresh ingredients.
  • Confident preparing dough, shaping pizzas and working with pizza ovens.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen compliance.
  • The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy services.
