Role Overview: The Area Cooling Sales Representative will focus on selling compressors and HVAC/R components directly to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and factories. This is a volume-driven sales role requiring strong technical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and experience in parts or equivalent component sales. The role involves building strong customer relationships, managing key accounts, and delivering solutions that meet OEM requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of compressors and HVAC/R components to OEMs and factory clients.
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities within the cooling sector and convert leads into sales.
- Provide technical advice on product selection, compatibility, and system integration.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial agreements for bulk-volume orders.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment and customer support.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and new technology developments.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in HVAC/R, refrigeration, or air conditioning components.
- Strong technical knowledge of compressors and other HVAC/R parts.
- Experience in volume-based or parts-equivalent sales to OEMs or factories.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and account management skills.
- Fluent English in a business setting.
- Proficient in MS Office 365.
- Ability to work independently and manage a travel-intensive schedule.
- Full clean driverβs license is essential.
- Customer Visit / Travel estimated at 30% of the week.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
