A high-performing secondary school in Brent is recruiting a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Humanities department until July, with permanent opportunities available from September. The department has strong GCSE outcomes and is known for high-quality curriculum design and ambitious teaching. Graduate TAs are fully integrated into the department and work closely with experienced Humanities teachers.
You will:
- Support Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver small-group interventions targeting GCSE improvement
- Assist with fieldwork preparation and enrichment activities
- Support revision strategies and exam technique development
- Develop confidence in behaviour management and classroom presence
You will gain meaningful exposure to lesson planning, assessment tracking and curriculum delivery β positioning you strongly for a PGCE or Schools Direct application.
